About Minecraft

It can be a little daunting to decide which version of Minecraft to purchase if you've never been in the blocks-filled world of Minecraft.

Before you make a purchase, you need to be able to choose from Java or Bedrock to Minecraft Classic.

There are many versions of Minecraft, including the Pocket edition and the Educational edition.

How are different Minecraft versions different? This is the guide!

What is Minecraft?

Minecraft Classic is the free version, but it has limitations that make it not suitable for avid gamers.

You can explore Minecraft here with up to nine people, but all your progress and any actions you make in the game will be lost once you close it.

This version of Minecraft does not support mods. You will also not be able buy any of the many Minecraft skins. Realms are not available. This is a simple Minecraft version that's meant to be a guide, not a complete tutorial.

What is the Bedrock version?

What is the difference between Minecraft and Bedrock? The classic Minecraft version only allows you to do a few things, while Bedrock lets you do all the fun stuff.

Bedrock makes it possible for the game to be played on PC, mobile and consoles. You will also get Survival, Adventure, and Creative modes. You can also find survival elements like hunger and brewing in this version, as well as the Nether and End dimensions.

There are many mobs, blocks, and items that behave differently. Some of these will also look different.

Can you play Minecraft Bedrock on Xbox One, then? Yes, you can! This is the main paid version that you can find on both Xbox and PlayStation consoles, as well as your PC.
